It is an outrage that the State of Florida is allowing many of our historic buildings to be demolished.

I spent time here in late 70s early 80s. My friend John was related to the owner at that time.

We had sandwiches in the oranges and I swam topless in the outdoor pool. After I rode a wet bike .

Lovely memories.

I went back to Mahatton and John visited me there.

Often wonder what became of John.

Sad this house is no more it was so gorgeous.

YVETTE.

My dad considered buying that villa years ago, but knew the taxes would be too high. He ended up with a tiny house on the New River in Ft. Lauderdale for his beloved sailboat.

Thank you for commenting, Francine. Although Capone did not originally build the house, he did add the pool in the backyard after he purchased the residence.
